Love
Letter's
Read by Linda Carew
(Sister of the Groom)
From
the first moment they came to my door step, I
knew they were meant for one another. From
the first time I saw and heard her sing at 16
years old, I knew was special, and apparently so
did my brother who saw her at that time too!
This past summer, Ronnie and Lysa continued to
come visit me and share all their adventures and
love stories with me, from a wedding web page to
this day. I am so proud to be one of the
first persons to share their love and to be the
one they felt comfortable enough to share their
lives with.
Here
are some of their endless words to each other,
expressed in e-mail, web pages and a special
'Love Story' book they have started...
He
said, "I love you...do you KNOW that I love
you?"
She said, "I've never known love like this,
what I thought was love could never have
been."
He said, "Will you come meet my
Mother?"
She said, "Please come to my parents today,
I told my sister and she is so happy.
Let's call Deb, it's 2 am but she won't mind.
I can't believe it's you after all this
time!"
He said, "I never fell like this for
ANYONE; you're truly my best friend."
She said, "Thank you for helping me get
through my hard times. I can't wait to
have children with you. Our first
daughter's name will be Renzi."
He said, "I look forward to coming home to
you each and every night. I can't stand to
be apart from you."
She said, "I hope and pray you will fully
trust in my love because I do in yours."
And he said," It's easy to love you, easy
to care for you; it's easy because you have
allowed us to be one."
And
to be one is what we are here to witness of them
today. Now my sister Christine would like
to share some words with you.

Lysa
Was Created for Ronnie
Read by Christine Jones (Sister of the Groom)
I
was there one summer night to see just how much
my brother had changed. He was so happy,
so content and so unlike how I've ever seen him
before. He invited my husband and I to see
a girl sing. We went. There I saw in
my brother's eyes, the reason for his happiness-
for his contentment. I asked him,
"Why don't you talk to her?" He
said, "I am...I love her." Never
before have I seen a more meant-to-be couple
besides my husband and I of course! (smile)
Sometimes two people are just made for each
other.
Genesis
2:19-24 Reads:
Now
God was forming from the ground every wild beast
of the field and every flying creature of the
heavens, and he began bringing them to the man
to see what he would call each one; and whatever
the man would call it, each living soul, that
was it's name. So the man was calling the
name of every wild beast of the field (this
includes Lions and Khats!), but for man there
was found no helper as a compliment of him.
Hence, God had a deep sleep fall upon the man
and, while he was sleeping, he took one of his
ribs and then closed up the flesh over its
place. And God proceeded to build the rib
that he had taken from the man into a woman and
to bring her to the man. Then the man
said: "This is at last bone of my bones and
flesh of my flesh. This one will be called
Woman, because from man this one was
taken." That is why a man will leave
his father and his mother and he must stick to
his wife and they must become one flesh.
We
can plainly see how they we're meant for each
other. Please stand and welcome Lysa to
Ronnie. Dancing for the first time as Mr.
& Mrs. Ronald Davis, to their song- 'My Baby
You" by Marc Anthony.
